Conan O’Brien Discusses “We’re going to be Friends”
by The White Stripes.
Conan reminisces about The White Stripes’ performance on his last ever Late Night show.
Inspired by the White Stripes’ attitude and signature colours, I started with brush and ink on paper, trying to capture the rawness of their cool.
The style of the film became simple bold lines, high contrast colour blocks and rough textures.
In animation, we focused on movement, energy and character over finesse to impart that sense of effortless cool The White Stripes ooze.
